What affects the cost of website design
Website design pricing in the UK varies a lot, from a few hundred pounds to many thousands. Three things decide most of it: how many pages you need, who writes the words, and any special features like online booking or a shop.
A one-page site is quick to build. A website with a page for each service you offer and each area you cover takes longer, but that's the kind that gets found on Google. That's the difference between our Small and Medium sizes.
Every price on this page is fixed, so the cost of making your website won't creep up halfway through. AI does the heavy lifting, a real expert runs the show, so you get agency quality without agency prices. Every website is overseen by Mike Hein, a lead developer with over 20 years' experience.

The build is a one-off. A website also has running costs, and they're easy to forget when you compare quotes. Here are ours.

Website cost questions
How much does a website cost in the UK?
A small business website in the UK can cost anything from a few hundred pounds for a simple site to several thousand for a large custom one. Ours are fixed and shown in the price table above, with no VAT to pay.
How much should a small business website cost?
Enough to get you found, without paying for things you don't need. A simple site is fine if people already know your name. If you want new customers to find you on Google, you need a page for each service and area you cover, which is what our Medium size is for.
What does a website cost to run each year?
You'll pay for hosting, your domain name and any email mailboxes. If your site runs on WordPress, care and updates are worth adding too. Our prices for each are in the running costs table.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The build price is fixed and agreed before we start, and the running costs are listed on this page. If you ask for something extra later, we'll give you the price in writing first.
Is a cheap website worth it?
It can be, if you only need to be found by your business name. If you want enquiries from people searching for what you do, you need more pages and proper set-up for Google. Compare what you get, not just the price.
Can I pay for my website monthly?
Yes. Our pay monthly website has no set-up fee and includes hosting, backups, support and small changes in one monthly price.
